Exceptionally comfortable, with custom-upholstered furniture, the light filled Salon offers two sitting areas; curl up with a good book or enjoy a leisurely aperitif in front of the log fire, or settle down in front of the large screen Apple TV with all options for TV, movies, music, radio and showing off your adventurous photos and videos.
The centrepiece of the Salon is undoubtedly the floor, a masterpiece by Annecy-based artist Gilles Giacomotti who has used a wood-staining technique to transform it into a bespoke artwork for Villa Rose.
The wood-panelled Victorian Sunroom, with its glass panelled walls and hot pink sofa, is a veritable sun trap and a wonderful place for a morning coffee, or whiling away an afternoon over a magazine or iPad. In the evenings, a romantic dinner for two can also be arranged.
This welcoming area of the Villa, accessed via the sweeping fuchsia staircase, accommodates guests for breakfast, afternoon tea, refreshments and dinner, and can be transformed for exclusive bookings into a private dining room, with a large square table seating up to 12 for a convivial banquet feel. The front-of-villa balcony, which overlooks the garden, is a sunny idyll for coffee or an aperitif.
Villa Rose has a private ski entrance with ski room, ski storage and boot warmers.
Enjoy our new outdoor jacuzzi. In room massages can be arranged.
As one of France’s ‘Villes Fleuries’ the whole village of Samöens is renowned for its floral displays during the summer and Villa Rose enjoys being part of this tradition. As the Villa is 1900s Belle-Époque, the garden has been replanted to reflect its original style.
Villa Rose has private parking for 6 cars.
